On the afternoon of November 1, 2019, Grade 2017 Excellence Experimental Class of Law held a class meeting themed on network security education. In recent years, there has been a high incidence of telecom fraud cases. The fraud methods emerge in an endless and increasingly novel way, which is deceptive. Many students around us have also been the victims of telecom fraud. As the "November 11" shopping festival is approaching, students are getting ready for an online shopping. At such moment, it is necessary to remind students to pay more attention to telecom fraud while enjoying the convenience of online shopping and to share some anti-fraud skills. This is the background and original intention of this class meeting.
This class meeting is mainly divided into two parts: explaining the safety manual and watching the anti-fraud video.
First of all, the monitor ZHENG Yili explained the safety manual jointly issued by the Security Office of Beijing Normal University, Office of Beitaipingzhuang Sub-district and the Police Station of Beitaipingzhuang. According to the safety manual, he talked about the meaning of telecom fraud, how to identify telecom fraud, operation mode of telecom fraud group, psychology of the victims, real cases and countermeasures.
Next, the participants together watched and learned the anti-fraud publicity video that was recorded by Beijing Anti-telecom and Network Fraud Crime Center for students.
After the class meeting, the students have improved their awareness of precaution. If really cheated, please keep good evidence and report the case in time...
