During the winter vacation in 2019, the Law School of the University of Western Australia will hold a winter vacation exchange program with two Law Schools of Beijing Normal University. The program includes learning about the parliamentary system and judicial system of Australia and academic writing skills, understanding the court structure in Western Australia, visiting the parliament house, auditing the cases in the court, group presentation and local tour. For detailed information, please refer to Attachment 1.
I. Program time
From January 13 to January 26, 2019, two weeks in total
II. Expenses
RMB 18,500 per person.
1. The expenses include: program fee, accommodation fee (double rooms), airport transfer, local transportation fee, tour fee within the program, welcome dinner, farewell dinner and so on.
2. The expenses exclude: meal fee, air ticket and insurance expenses, visa fee, bank charges and exchange rate differential, personal consumption and so on.
(Remark: The Law School will provide no more than RMB 8,000 for international traveling expense to all students who are finally selected for the program.)
III. Quota
About 30 people (The Law School and the Academy of Criminal Sciences each have 15 members)
IV. Issuance of the certificate
Upon completion of the program, students will receive the certificate of completion issued by the University of Western Australia.
V. Condition of registration
1. All students in the two colleges can register, and there is no limit on the grade. (Undergraduates, postgraduates and doctoral students all can participate.)
2. Students should have a good command of English and be able to communicate fluently. Those who have passed TOEFL or IELTS are preferred.

For the document name and the email subject, please indicate the name of the applicant.
VII. Deadline of pre-registration
Deadline of the pre-registration is 9 a.m. on November 12, 2018.
VIII. Matters needing attention during pre-registration
This program is in the winter, but does not affect the Spring Festival (the Spring Festival of 2019 is on February 5).
