The bus drove smoothly on the highway. On the vast and flat land, the sunset slowly sank below the horizon. The creamy orange sunset glow and the gradually darkened sky melt together, gentle yet dazzling. Traveling all day on the road, everyone was very sleepy but jubilant when we passed Allianz Stadium. In this way, after moving from the airport to the university town, we started our month-long trip in Munich.

Verbal learning
Perhaps the greatest surprise of this trip was the experience of attending classes, completing tasks, playing games and preparing for the pre with students from all over the world. At the beginning, I experienced an unprecedentedly active class for the first time, clearly realizing the gap between Chinese students and foreign (especially European) students in terms of the positive degree and contribution of group tasks. But in the process, I gradually adapted to and actively participated in the class where I saw another way of learning.
When Russian students kept uttering a string of sentences that could not be recognized as English or German, and Spanish students talked about words that seemed that I had never been heard due to their inarticulate pronunciation of b and p, I have determined my attitude towards the language in this process full of confusion: the ultimate purpose of language was to communicate, and the familiarity with different accents could also be a necessary step in language learning.

Here, "native listening materials" comes from anyone’s talk. For language learners, people could learn how to communicate. I completely repeated the words of what a girl in Germany said who was in front of me. In this way, I ate ice cream for the first time in German and learned new expressions. For us, learning a language is more about life than textbooks. Textbooks provide only some things that cannot be bypassed, but what really makes language mature is only application and practice. It is much more practical to find a few more people on the street to ask the way, to listen and read more German explanations when going to museums, and to chat with Germans in German more often than to copy grammar points and do reading questions. In addition, English should be used as little as possible. We must go out of comfortable zone where we can use English freely. -even if we are wrong, it doesn't matter. Everyone is very tolerant of foreigners, which is the case in any country.

City Impression
As the capital of Bavaria, Munich boasts a long and complicated history. What we saw, such as Marienpaltz and Odeonsplatz, bears the imprint of history, rich and worthy of careful appreciation. Residenz MüNchen is the legacy of the once glorious Bavarian royal family, and Pinakothek is the artistic treasure left by Ludwig I to the world. Even for daily meals, the waiters dressed in traditional costumes and the classic dishes on the menu in the restaurant also reflect the unique customs of Bavaria. Several group tours have made us understand Germany outside Munich. In New Swan Stone Castle, we sighed with emotion the legendary life of "King of Fairy Tales" Ludwig II. In Dachau concentration camp, we lamented the death of millions of lives and we were angry at Nazi atrocities. In the urban area of Nuremberg, we touched the ancient city wall to feel the modernization of the city and appreciate the double charm of the city's history and modernity. At the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg, we expressed our admiration for the German nation's attitude towards the history.

Life and Food
I had lunch at Mensa every day, and then I went to edeka in the afternoon to buy food material and cook by myself. Mensa's lunch was quite good in general, although there was weird food sometimes. It is very simple to cook your own food here. There are ready-made dishes and meat in the supermarket. You just need to fry them and add some seasoning. Besides, Bavarian pig elbow is certainly the most famous food. Sometimes I got tired of eating in the canteen and I went to the small restaurants on the street. It was perfect to order Bavarian pig's elbow with its best partner beer!

Conclusion
Perhaps the following passage of Jasmin (LIU Chenge) can well represent the feelings of most students in the 2016 Hande German class: "Munich is not as big or as lively as we expected. If you ask me why I choose to study in Germany in the future, my answer is the cleanness, tidiness and atmosphere possessed by German. Here, classical music is played in every subway station, and even street improvisational music is elegant and inspiring. I can hear any language here, and I like the environment full of multi-cultural integration very much. I don’t show a strong feeling of reluctant to leave here at the end of the journey, which might because I know I will come again. From the beginning of learning German in a hard state to the idea that I have never regretted learning German at the last, I feel satisfied to my campus life. Germany has wine and songs, and I will see you in two years.
Goodbye, Germany. Goodbye, Munich ~
