Announcements on Exchange Student Selection in the Fall of 2018
I, Program Introduction
According to the student exchange agreement between the Law Schools of Beijing Normal University and the Law School of Aberdeen University in the UK, the Law Schools of Beijing Normal University will send three students (both undergraduates and graduate students are eligible) to study at Aberdeen University for one semester in the Fall of 2018. The corresponding credits the students have obtained in accordance with the course requirements of University of Aix-Marseille can be converted into credits of Beijing Normal University after being approved Students can study in Aberdeen University free of tuition.
II, Application Requirements
1, Those who have Chinese nationality.
2, Those who have excellent academic performance, good conduct, as well as a clear study plan and purpose.
3, Applicants should be full-time undergraduates or graduate students (should be able to complete exchange study before the beginning of the last semester of the senior year or the third year of postgraduate study).
4, Students are required to return to Beijing Normal University for further study after the exchange.
5, Applicants must have sufficient financial means to cover the cost of living in the UK and international travel.

III, Introduction of Aberdeen University & Related Courses
Aberdeen University is one of four ancient Scottish universities founded in the middle ages and the fifth oldest in the UK. Since its establishment, Aberdeen University has been one of the most historical, representative and powerful research institutions in the UK. Aberdeen University is renowned for its teaching and research quality and has five Nobel Prize winners. It is one of the 20 star universities in the UK and used to be ranked first among the "ten most employable universities" by The Times. In “QS world university rankings (2015-2016)”, Aberdeen University is ranked 137th in the world, and meanwhile it is ranked 37th in the world in the latest Thames world international university rankings in 2016. The Law School of Aberdeen University is considered one of the top law schools in the UK.
Exchange students are allowed to choose courses across departments, but can only choose one course from 60-credit courses per semester (15 credits). More information about the courses is available on the website:

2, If you are interested, please fill in the application form in Attachment 1 and send it to Mrs. Zhang in Office 1910 of the Law School at and the attachment should be entitled “Fall 2018 - Aberdeen University Exchange Student Application + Name of Applicant”.
3, Please bring the following paper application materials to Mrs. Zhang in Office 1910 of the Law School before the deadline.
Resume (including basic information, contact information, education, etc.);
Photocopy of school transcript (copy on A4 paper);
Original and photocopy of English test results (copy on A4 paper);
Original and photocopy of scientific research achievement and award certificate (copy on A4 paper);
Graduate students are required to submit a study plan indicating the credits for the proposed exchange and the reasons why the exchange is possible.

According to the student exchange agreement between the Law Schools of Beijing Normal University and the Law School of LOUISS University in Italy, the Law Schools of Beijing Normal University will send two students (both undergraduates and graduate students are eligible) to study at LOUISS University for one semester in the fall of 2019. The corresponding credits the students have obtained in accordance with the course requirements of University of Aix-Marseille can be converted into credits of Beijing Normal University after being approved Students can study in the LOUISS University free of tuition.
II, Application Requirements

3, Applicants should be full-time undergraduates or graduate students in Beijing Normal University (be able to complete the exchange study and return to BNU before the beginning of the last semester of the third year of the graduate school).

6, Priority can be given to those who are proficient in English, or have IELTS, TOEFL or GRE scores.
